Black Tie and Books: Inside the New York Public Library’s 2022 Library Lions Gala

On November 7, the New York Public Library held its annual Library Lions Gala. This year’s event, which took place at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, honored Laurie Anderson, Mary Beard, Charles M. Blow, Lynn Nottage, and Amartya Sen.
