“I recently bought a pair of wacky dining chairs in blue, Klein blue to be exact, so I’ve been on the lookout for a complementary if more muted backdrop to make them pop. Visiting the showroom at the D&D building of the venerable Italian label Dedar, I may have found the curtains of my dream in a degradé pattern called Oxford Horizon. The frill is available in six colorways, but it was the delicate ‘Oltre mare’ spoke to me, or rather, to my chairs.
