Kate Middleton Danced While Her 40th Birthday Photos Were Being Taken

Over the weekend, the Duchess of Cambridge turned 40, and to mark the milestone birthday, Kensington Palace released a glamorous trio of portraits of Kate taken by photographer Paolo Roversi. In a new interview with the Italian publication Corriere Della Sera, Roversi revealed that in order to get the three images, he took “250 shots almost all in black and white.” That number was winnowed down to “about 70,” and eventually to the three that were shared with the public.
