Child tax credit 2022 update – Thousands more Americans to get $3,600 when filing their taxes this year

THOUSANDS more Americans will be eligible to receive the $3,600 advanced child tax credit when they file their taxes in 2022, the IRS said. Advanced $300 Child Tax Credit payments could also return with a double payment in February, if Congress can pass a new bill.
