D.A.R.E. Accuses ‘Euphoria’ Of Glorifying Teen Sex & Drug Use

This afternoon the Drug Abuse Resistance Education organization — widely known as D.A.R.E — accused HBO’s Euphoria of glamorizing drug use. Following Sunday’s episode, a representative from D.A.R.E reached out to TMZ to express their concerns. In a statement provided to the media outlet they said, “rather than further each parents desire to keep their children safe from the potentially horrific consequences of drug abuse and other high-risk behavior, HBO’s television drama, Euphoria, chooses to misguidedly glorify and erroneously depict high school student drug use, addiction, anonymous sex, violence, and other destructive behaviors as command and widespread in today’s world.”… Read Full Article
