Princess Mary of Denmark Wears a Tiara From Napoleon Bonaparte’s Coronation to Celebrate Her 50th Birthday
Princess Mary of Denmark celebrated her milestone birthday by wearing a very meaningful set of jewels. To commemorate her 50th birthday on February 5, the palace released six new portraits of the royal and her husband, Crown Prince Frederik, dressed in full regalia. For the photographs, the prince dressed in his official military uniform, while the princess opted for a shimmering, pale blue, belted gown with sheer illusion sleeves and bodice.
