Rotterdam Is Dismantling a Historic Bridge for Jeff Bezos’s Superyacht

The European port of Rotterdam will dismantle part of its iconic Koningshaven bridge for Jeff Bezos. The billionaire’s new yacht is being built in Alblasserdam, in the western Netherlands, and will be too tall to pass under the bridge. “It’s the only route to the sea,” a spokesperson for the mayor of Rotterdam told AFP, confirming the news of the bridge’s dismantling.
