Japan’s Princess Yoko Is Hospitalized With Pneumonia After Contracting COVID-19
Earlier this month, Japan’s Imperial House Agency announced that Princess Yoko had tested positive for COVID-19, marking the first case of the virus among Japan’s royal family. Amid a deadly sixth wave of infections in the country, the 38-year-old second cousin of Emperor Naruhito first complained of a sore throat on February 7, according to Asahi Shimbun.
