Trump’s Truth Social Is Allegedly Banning People for Talking About the January 6 Hearings Because Of Course It Is

Truth Social, the sad social media company not even Donald Trump’s heart is in, was founded in response to the ex-president’s banishment from Twitter after he incited and then doubled down on a violent insurrection. According to the company itself, the network “encourages an open, free, and honest global conversation without discriminating on the basis of political ideology,” and presumably, if an ex-president wanted to, say, provoke a riot over an election outcome he didn’t like, that could be okay.
