Beauty Details from the Chanel Haute Couture Runway Show in Paris
For the second time in a row, Virginie Viard swapped the usual Grand Palais for equestrian school Étrier de Paris to show its Haute Couture FW22/23 collection. Slouchy shapes, ornate details and saturated pops of color were tempered with a quintessentials Chanel beauty look: clean matte skin, a softly-pinched pink blush, nude lips and a smudgy black liner around the eyes. Unlike previous collections that featured bold details like heavy wings or watermelon-hued lips, FW22/23 was simple, soft, and very French.
