A Brief History of Famous Poisonings, from Socrates to Roman Abramovich

Update: Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal reported that sources close to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich claimed he had been poisoned, along with two other men, on or around March 3. According to the report, all three men experienced non-lethal symptoms, including peeling skin and blurred vision (Abramovich was temporarily blinded). Abramovich, a close confidant of Vladimir Putin, had attended numerous high-level peace negotiations with Russian and Ukrainian representatives in early March.
