AN asteroid made a “close approach” to Earth on April 1, 2022, while being watched closely by space enthusiasts. Asteroid 2007 FF1 made a close encounter with our planet around 4.35pm on Friday – flying within approximately 4.6 million miles of Earth and at a speed of 29,800 mph, LiveScience reported.
