Celebrity Couples Can’t Catch a Break With Social Media

The recriminations, hand-wringing, and theorizing began on Twitter right after Will Smith rushed the stage at the Oscars and slapped Chris Rock for making a joke about Smith’s wife, actor Jada Pinkett Smith. Some wondered why Pinkett Smith hadn’t intervened to block her husband, as if this were even possible.
