FAMILIES with children may see $3,600 boosts come tax season, as millions continue pushing for an extension on expanded child tax credit payments. The child tax credit scheme was temporarily expanded from $2,000 to $3,600 last year, and eligible families who didn’t collect $1,800 in advance payments can claim the full amount on their taxes.
