AMERICANS could claim up to $3,600 in child tax credits on this year’s tax returns, depending on their family situation. This, as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) sent the last child tax credit payment on December 15, 2021. That’s when more than 36million families across the country received the final batch of advance monthly payments totaling about $16billion.
