MILLIONS of Social Security checks worth up to $1,657 are set to be sent out next week. Retired workers across the country will see a cash boost because of the 5.9 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) increase. The next checks for retirees born between the first and 10th of the month will be sent on Wednesday, March 9.
