MILLIONS of Americans could be set to receive another huge boost to their checks. An early estimate from The Senior Citizens League, a non-partisan senior group, has found that the 2023 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) could be as high as 7.6 percent, based on the most up-to-date Consumer Price Index figures. The Social Security COLA for 2022 in January stood at 5.9 percent, the highest rise in 40 years.
