Colleyville suspect ‘demands call with terrorist Aafia Siddiqui’ after taking captives

MULTIPLE hostages are being held at a synagogue at gunpoint near Fort Worth, Texas, by a suspect who demanded the release of Aafia Siddiqui. Previous reporting identified the suspect in the hostage scenario as Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s brother, Mohammad Siddiqui, after references to Aafia and the word “sister” were heard in a recording from inside the synagogue. Aafia Siddiqui is currently serving an 86-year sentence, after being convicted in 2010 of attempting to murder American citizens.
