When The 355 was first announced, it sounded thrilling. The premise alone—Jessica Chastain, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, and Oscar-winners Lupita Nyong’o and Penélope Cruz teaming up to play globetrotting super spies—was enough to cause a hubbub at Cannes in 2018.
