Sometimes you’ll hear someone say a movie had “great cinematography,” but what they’ll really mean is it had great production design. If that little slip is annoying to me, just imagine how the members of the Art Directors Guild (Local 800) feel. The group collected at the InterContinental Hotel Los Angeles Downtown Hotel on Saturday night to award the best work done in 2022. The guild initiated the prizes in 1996.
