Before the Academy Awards ceremony ended in March 2014, the Fred Leighton headband worn by first-time Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o—with its diamonds set in gold-plated platinum—had its own Twitter account. Nearly eight years later, interest in those extraordinary jewels hasn’t waned.
