Inside the New York City Ballet’s 2022 Spring Gala
On May 5, the New York City Ballet put its best foot forward with its annual Spring Gala, held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. The gala, which was chaired by Diana Taylor, included a performance of Jerome Robbins’ “Circus Polka” and George Balanchine’s “Scherzo à la Russe,” both featuring students from the School of American Ballet, as well as Balanchine’s “Stravinsky Violin Concerto” and a world premiere work by Silas Farley with a score by composer David K.
