As you’ve probably heard by now, this past weekend, Marjorie Taylor Greene, the de facto leader of the House GOP, declared at a right-wing gala that if she and Steve Bannon had organized the January 6 attack on the Capitol, the mob would have (1) “been armed” and (2) “won” the insurrection, the goal of which was to illegally install Donald Trump for a second term.
