New York City’s Top Chefs Comment On The Upcoming Foie Gras Ban

The New York City Council passed a law banning the sale of foie gras back in 2019. It was slated to go into effect November 25, but now, it’s on hold. New York Supreme Court Justice J. Machelle Sweeting issued a temporary injunction in September in response to a lawsuit that two upstate farms filed against the City of New York in late May.
