Oops: Herschel Walker’s Advisers Reportedly Knew He Allegedly Paid for a Woman’s Abortion, Just Figured It Wouldn’t Come Out
As you’ve probably heard by now, on Monday evening, the Daily Beast reported that in 2009, staunchly “pro-life” Senate candidate Herschel Walker allegedly urged a woman he’d impregnated to get an abortion, and reimbursed her for the procedure with a $700 check he included in a get-well card bearing what appears to be his extremely distinct signature. Not surprisingly, Walker’s campaign reportedly internally described the story—which the candidate has vehemently denied—a “setback,” which makes sense given the fact that the former pro-football player has said abortion should be fully outlawed, and the allegation makes him look like a colossal hypocrite….
