Prince Charles and Princess Anne Attend the Order of the Thistle Service

The highest order of chivalry in Scotland is the Order of the Thistle, and today, the biennial Thistle service was held today to install new members. This year, Queen Elizabeth made two new appointments to the Order: Dame Elish Angiolini, a Scottish lawyer, and Sir George Reid, a Scottish politician and academic. Queen Elizabeth is the Sovereign of the Order, and Prince Charles, Princess Anne, and Prince William are all Royal Knights of the Thistle—but only Charles and Anne were in attendance today.
