Prince Charles and Spain’s Queen Letizia Attend Art Exhibition Together

The Prince of Wales and the Queen of Spain opened an art exhibition in north east England today. The royals teamed up to open the exhibition of Francisco de Zurbarán’s Jacob and His Twelve Sons paintings at Auckland Castle’s Spanish Gallery. Auckland Castle—never a royal castle, but the residence of bishops of Durham—has been home to full-length portraits by Spanish painter Zurbarán of the biblical Jacob and 11 of his 12 sons for centuries.
