Prince Charles Pens Foreword for Holocaust Survivor Lily Ebert’s Memoir

Lily Ebert was 20 years old when she was sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1944. The young Hungarian Jewish woman miraculously survived the death camp, and has spent her long life telling her story. In January, Ebert met Prince Charles at “Seven Portraits: Surviving the Holocaust,” an exhibit of Holocaust survivors at the Queen’s Gallery which Charles, patron of the National Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, commissioned.
