Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis Have a New Last Name

There’s been a lot of royal family news in the past two weeks—an understatement!—but something that slipped under the radar is that three royal kids have new names now: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis are no longer using the last name “Cambridge.” Rather, since King Charles made their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the kids will use the last name “Wales.” As heir to the throne, the Prince of Wales is not a title that William automatically inherited.
