Ramy Season 3 Is a Joyfully Miserable Comedy

In its first two seasons, Hulu’s Ramy has not gone easy on its titular character. To cite just a tiny handful of examples out of literal dozens: We’ve watched Ramy Hassan (Ramy Youssef, who also cocreated, writes, and frequently directs the show) shamed by his father Farouk (Amr Waked) over his affair with a married member of their mosque.
