Shock as top coronavirus advisor Jonathan Van-Tam QUITS amid garden party scandal
THE DEPUTY chief medical officer, Sir Jonathan Van Tam, has quit his role during a turbulent 24 hours for Boris Johnson. It is understood that his decision to leave was not based around the events of the ‘garden party’ but instead a long-planned choice. He will return to his position at Nottingham University after months of hard work analysing Coronavirus data and advising the PM.
