Surprise ‘$8,000 stimulus’ checks to be sent out by IRS after 2021 deadline passed

AS the IRS begins to distribute the sixth round of payments for the expanded Child Tax Credit, some parents may receive payments worth up to $8,000 in 2022. Parens with an adjusted gross income of less than $125,000 and have at least two children under the age of 13 may receive some extra cash. The payments are part of the child and dependent tax credit.
