Surprise: Florida Republicans Want to Ban Talk of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in Schools

As you’ve probably heard by now, the latest cause that conservatives have decided to rally around is banning schools from talking to children about topics they think are inappropriate for impressionable young minds. What do those topics include? Well, institutional racism in America and the reality that discrimination didn’t cease to exist after the end of slavery, to start.
