The 2021 Black List: Kanye West Biopic, Wild Dennis Rodman Tale Make the Cut

This year’s Black List—the annual compilation of the most liked, but still unproduced screenplays in Hollywood—has arrived, bringing with it a slew of biopics about everyone from Kanye West to Michael Bay to Donald Trump. And there’s more where that came from, including two scripts possibly inspired by The Last Dance, the Michael Jordan–centric docuseries that told the player’s epic life story and dominated viewership at the height of the pandemic.
