Todd Boehly named as preferred Chelsea bidder, James ‘open’ to Real Madrid move

CHELSEA could not fend off a fired-up Everton as Frank Lampard got revenge over his former club in a 1-0 win. The Blues were cut down by a Richarlison winner, but were blunt in attack at Goodison Park. In the latest takeover news, billionaire Todd Boehly has been named as the preferred bidder for Chelsea despite a last-gasp £4billion bid from Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
