Universal basic income payment schedule — Families eligible for $500 or more in new UBI programs — see if you can apply

SOME Americans will soon begin receiving monthly payments starting at $500 after two new universal basic income programs were announced. In Alameda County, California, the city council announced a guaranteed income plan on May 17 that would benefit nearly 150 households. The funds will offer $1,000 in direct payments to low-income residents for two years.
